Laying here by myself
Wondering what you are doing and if I’m on your mind,
And as much as I don’t want to I must confess
The thought of you causes words and actions to race through my mind

I choke on words at the sight of your smile,
Your beautiful eyes sparkle in the sun
You stand out from the crowd, seen from a mile
The touches you give me potent, leaving me stunned

Laughter echoes in my mind; thoughts forever running
Of what could be; dreams racing, pacing
The confines of my head
Illusions that cannot be healed by medicine

Scars left invisible by your touch
Forever to stay but never to be seen
Arguments nor protests protrude from my mouth
Your smooth skin, parchment to draw my love scene
